Unresponsiveness:United States' Rationale

Unresponsiveness:United States' Rationale
Darfur has an inhospitable terrain stretching from Darfur to Chad and refugess running away from the genocide are becoming trapped between the Darfur/Chad border. Besides this messy situation, the United States and other countries are facing the other mess of trying to get humanitarian aid into the impoverished area. The Sudanese government backed by China and Russia has denied any humanitarian aid and assistance from other countries. Why? If Sudan accepted aid then that would send the message that there is a genocide, which the Sudan government has immensly denied. The U.S. has been extremely reluctant to act because of their diplomatic and international relationship with China and Russia. Because of this relationship and despite the bills that are flowing through the House and Congress it is very unlikely that the U.S. will act any faster than it already is to stop this genocide.

I am very aware of the current standing of the United States in this issue. It is truly unforgivable that such a seemingly great country as our's would take such an inhuman side with all due respect.
